Our History

About Dawat-e-Islami UK

Dawat-e-Islami is a global, non-political, Islamic organization working for the propagation of Quran and Sunnah throughout the world. It was established in 1981 by Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri Razavi Ziyae, who is one of the great Islamic scholars and spiritual guides of our time.

Our Mission:
Our mission statement is given by the founder Maulana Ilyas Qadri himself that “I must strive to reform myself and people of the entire world” and by the grace of Allah عزوجل millions of Dawat-e-Islami’s representatives are doing so that is becoming a source of religious and social reforms in the society.

To reach the needs of humanity, and for the betterment of society, Dawat-e-Islami operates through 82 departments. Each department focuses upon a specific need, here are just a few examples of some of the work we do; the provision of humanitarian welfare programmes, education via schools, madrasas, Jamias (Islamic universities) and online services. Also spiritual development, rectification programmes, outreach community work, funeral services and the construction of Masjids, schools and education centres. Across the entire United Kingdom, we have approximately 90+ buildings providing a variety of welfare services, education programmes & much more!

Shaykh-e-Tariqat, Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat, Founder of Dawat-e-Islami Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri Razavi Ziyae دامت برکاتھم العالیہ is one of the great Islamic scholars of the 21st century and a spiritual guide. His impressive efforts and untiring struggle have brought religious reform to the lives of millions of individuals.

Maulana Ilyas Qadri has given the Maadani mission that “I must strive to reform myself and people of the entire world” and by the grace of Allah عزوجل millions of Dawat-e-Islami’s representatives are doing so and that it is becoming a source of religious and social reform in society.
